It bolts in place of stock console with no mods. There are no provisions to move the changer over though, is that what you’re wondering?

@Delta VS , would it be possible to offer a bare (but with lock and hinge), non painted, non leather top for us that want to paint it ourselves and cover it?...like in pic

Hopefully you guys will put two cup holders in front instead of that tray?

The cup holder is a “bolt on the front or back” type thing. We might be able to offer a bare one, we’ll see?

Welp, 3rd PROTOTYPE, UNFINISHED, UNPAINTED, UNPOWDERCOATED setup has been test fit in an early dash model and IT FITS PERFECT. Hopefully after this weekend will be able to test fit in a 95+ dash to verify fitment there. The same pieces are used for both, just assembled slightly differently, so if it fits the 95, it's time to make some incredibly minor adjustments and order some parts!

Fit them up in stages, since they will be available together and separately (center console and shifter console).

Pics below show:

The shifter console has an interchangeable gauge/switch/plug plate (just in time for that boost gauge!). We will offer a few options and a completely blank one so you can roll your own.

The switch plate and the backing piece that holds the switches to the rear of the t-case shifter are made from aluminum so you can easily file the OEM spec holes to fit Carling style in a matter of minutes.

You can see the four empty holes on the side, those are mirrored on the left side and are for future attachments (RAM thingys, cup holders, etc).

It uses an OEM t-case boot from a different application since the 80 series ones are not easy to find.

Here you can see the center console with the stock shifter console. The holes right behind and above the e-brake handle are for the cupholder and the internal storage stuff (those parts haven't made it back to the shop yet, will follow up when they do).

We got it figured out so the lid will be available with a leather cover or blank if you want to do your own thing.

Wider shot of the center console.

Both fit up together nicely. Next post will have some wide shots showing the whole thing and some of the insides.

You can see all the different kinds of gauges and switches that fit in various places here. The three right next to where the shifter console meets the center console are standard for OEM switches (PWR/2nd, seat heater, etc) but as mentioned above can easily be filed to fit a carling switch. All kinds of room for all kinds of different switches/gauges in the upper plate.

Money shot (yes, the angle does effect things and make it look a little monstrous, but it's really not). You can see the "knock-outs" to add USB/12V outlets on the front here, there are 2 on the back as well:

Just slide your fingers right onto the custom latch (kind of like how you open the OEM one) and just the right amount of pressure opens it up:

A gas strut keeps the travel to the right spot, helps open it, and makes sure it doesn't smash any fingers. You can see the 2 knock-outs for outlets on the back in this shot:

With a little push:

This thing just POPS open!

And opens up to be a little stash spot (we like stash spots) that should fit a @NLXTACY organizer with zero issues AND/OR bolt our little Delta-Loc pieces into the leather tensioner if you want to hold something to the lid (the little dropdown piece will be an option so you won't have to worry about it getting in the way if you don't want it) :

God DAMN I think I'm in for one

Will it fit RHD trucks? Please say yes

We have access to an 81 that wants one, so we can test fit there. The center console should be no problem, but the shifter console is going to be a bit of a pain :( (but we are going to be working on it).

Kind of a cool pic of all the parts that go into the shifter console:
