Is 2013-2015 when they came out with these “unique” rear lights? (27 Viewers)

It was a style that has come and gone. Non existent in the 100. Introduced in the 200, peaking in the 13-15. Diminished in the 300. I prefer not to have protruding headlamps/tail lights when the headlamps are almost $2000 each. You are speaking specifically about aesthetics, carry on.
Aesthetics are in question, specifically for the 200 series LCs, as this is a 200 series subforum. Not what came before or since. Carrying on.

The OP literally says, "They seem kind of fragile and out there." The answer is yes, they can be.

That is more than just aesthetics. . What do you want to talk about next, your favorite color?

Yeah I’m not sure if it’s just the camera angle making it look more extreme than it is, my initial reaction isn’t favorable, I like the flatter look of other years, they just seem kind of fragile and out there, just a nitpick, I’m looking for a 200.

Haha triggered much 🤣🤣 And I confirmed this in my initial response to the OP a long time ago...

But since you still had the need to talk about completely different generations and aftermarket, I would not be surprised if you bring color into this discussion also. Carry on.

I'm not triggered by very much. I use all my Land Cruisers for what they are designed for. Aesthetics takes a back seat. They just have to meet the minimum qualification.

Do you want to give the OP the bad news or shall I? This thread he/she created is ONLY about aesthetics.... according to you. A plastic headlamp or tail light vs ANYTHING... pretty much "anything" wins.

Lame... I'm going to bow out. Waste of time. Waste of bandwidth.

Yes you do that. I'm only interested in a discussion with people who stay on topic and don't easily get triggered with assumptions.

Not sure what 100 series has to do with this lol and apparently we're looking at different pictures.. because to me, there's no difference.

Regarding rocks and trees... my land cruiser stays miles away from those. The only tilt it sees is from a new fridge loaded at Costco.
The top portion of the headlight on the 08-11 is more pronounced than the 2016+....I can see it in the picture.

Hint hint... Maybe look at the bottom portion in relation to the bumper too? 😉

Here, I will lay it out word for word again to what I already stated in the beginning haha...

"If any" in comparison to '08s and "not much difference" to '16s, which is a true statement.

Yes, I see the bottom portion, but my comment was about the upper portion that is clearly more pronounced. Just stating the obvious my friend.
