Hi, urgent input needed. Ironman warrantied my regular foam cells with foam cell pros but my mechanic is saying the the shock at the bottom is too big for the lower shock mount. It’s a 2003 Landcruiser and none of the shock mounts have ever been altered.

Any feedback, did anyone have to file the shock at the bottom ever so slightly? Is it an orientation thing?

The bottom mount on the rear shocks is offset.
It only fits right in the proper orientation. Easy to tell.
That’s what it was, lot of shocks are same either orientation

Do you or does anyone have these on their hundred that they can send me a picture of shock at the lower mount location.

Best photo I could easily get without rolling around on the ground. The guys at LC Specialist in Austin installed for me and no mention of any issue but definitely not their first rodeo either.

I installed mine myself. There's a little sticker on it that says to mind the offset. Glad it had that sticker I hadn't noticed and of course, put it on the wrong way. You have to love the law of 50/50. i can confirm with other replies as long as you do the offset correctly you'll be fine. I bought new OEM bolts and nuts because my baby is rusty and I like to blast off old bolts and put on new and torque to spec. aka, super nerd. If the base doesn't fit in the cradle it's the wrong model.

Can confirm, installed mine my self too. There is only one way they will go on there.
