I'm headed down to Atlanta to Urban Land Cruisers tomorrow, Saturday May 12, to pick over two FJ55's for parts. These Piggies are going to the crusher very soon and I thought it fitting to salvage what was possible before their doom. I'm leaving the Greenville area around 8 am. Does anyone want to ride along?

73 and 78 - David says they are pretty beat but still have some parts. From my Parts Piggie thread you had said you needed some turn signals and the blower part of the heater under the hood. I'll see what these look like.

Once you are done you need to swing by Heather's place and have a beer with us!

That would be awesome. The turn signals I need are the old style...one amber light only. And the blower is metal, but I think I am just looking for the motor. I'd also take the rear heater if it's there.

Just let me know. You can give me a call on my cell if you want. 678-463-7376

By all means! I am just off 85 on your way home!

Heather - I'll give you a call when I get to ULC about the parts and if its not getting too late (I might have to drive through Gville to Columbia) I'll give you a ring and stop by for a !

the list is quite long here, wish i could join ya! since the turn signals are spoken for i'll have to keep the aero package i got now ( off a 40 pointin skyward ). got a mean lean to the DS cause of one flat front spring. clutch throw out bearing going and a mysterious pinion seal leak that developed in the last months w/out driving it. hmmm? how bout just one working horn? i got three under the hood that are kaput. actually my fuel pressure regulator is leaking if one of those looks decent.

i imagine its a given the 73's front fenders have the typical rot at the bottom?

thanks a bunch

Jason if you're not a purist the FIAMM horns are strong, loud and reliable. They are made for motorcycles so water crossings and mud shouldn't faze them.
You can get them through Riderwearhouse catalog or online.

I got some good parts - complete fendes w/ passenger's side rust free, driver's side lower rust free and I have an upper to make it totally rust free, radiator, skid plate, mirrors for Richard, a few misc parts for me. I would have stayed longer and pulled more but the sun baked me. I have a horn for someone but have to look up PMs to see who it was.

I wanted a drip rail, tailgate and some roof pieces but couldn't find anything suitable.

Dave has some NICE Pigs there that belong to customers - I was drooling!

Marshall - they have your headrests if you want them. The two Pigs are going to the crusher soon. They still have a ton of good parts. David was great, gave me a good deal, and has a ton o parts for other rigs too. He would be worth contacting if you need anything.

I have some pics I will post as soon as I find my camera cord.
