I threw it in the garbage. It kept falling out of the CD slot, and if you try to tighten it (expand it more) it deforms to CD slot. Unacceptable.

Here is my new phone mount solution. Very happy with it.

Awesome, mines coming tomorrow. :bang:

I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of mention of RAM mounts. I have used these in two vehicles and think this its the best option for not having to use some kind of special case to work with a given mount.

iPhone - RAM Mount

I mounted a RAM X-grip to a Proclip mount. Pretty happy with it so far.

Where did you attach in your 16LC?
It was for my '13 LC. No phone mount in the my Wife's '16.

Aaaaand I’m returning it. To intrusive and blocks part of the center screen. NEXT!

That’s what I do too and it’s extremely effective. @ethernectar posted about doing that some time back and I copied him.
I like the spot. Just wishing for easier one handed placement/removal....

Change your Ram X Grip Holder out for the Ram Spring Loaded mount. It is much better and you can keep all the Ram arms and ball mounts as is, just swap that actual phone holder.

But it is mounted too low for use. You literally have to look down to use Navigation or whatever else you do on phone while driving.

I bought the 6 inch adapter and the phone completely coveres the 4wd selector switch. I can keep my arm and allow on the arm rest and still manipulate the phone if need be. It’s absolutely perfect for my use, very happy with it.

Proclip is the best. You can mount the platform right below vent and you can use their phone holder or even RAM (at least for 16+ LC) I have installed my on the passenger side. Just perfect. They have now 10% promo.

I use the quad lock in my 200 and a other one in my work car. Works great. Used the mount that sticks to the back of the phone since I need an otter box defender case on my phone.

I love my pro clip vent mount. Had the vent magnet, and hated it. My iPhone 8+ is too heavy for it.

Are you using the quad lock car mount? It doesn’t look like it has a lot of angle adjustment, I wondered where you mounted yours.
