Since I picked up my Troopy about a month ago I've been dying to share so here she is:

Specs: 1984 FJ45, 220 000klms, strong 2F(rebuilt 20 000klms), 4 speed, stock suspension, 31x10.5 tyres (will need replacing), Power steering, front discs, duel batteries, basically a good stock rig:)

Some pics of how she looked when I brought her home:

looks like a nice rig lup:cool:. waaay better than mine was. so when do the mods start;)

Ssshh, I might get lynched around here if they knew! Need a few bits yet, so maybe a few weeks at least, work is killing me at the moment. Hard to get motivated when your always tired.

AATLAS1X Work is plumbing. The rod holders on the over windscreen bar double as 1/2" copper holders!

Lup:)

congrats:beer:

nice troopy, and i love the colour;)

how about some pics of the power steering setup? is it a 40 series or 60 series box?

can't quite see it in your pics, covered up by the battery.

crusty

Great find! Looks like it's been kept up really well. I like the deck behind the front bumper, it looks like a practical place to lash down a few items, or at least a good place to sit for lunch! Fraser Island looks quite nice. I guess that is where my troopy "grew up".:D

I presume its a 40 setup. I think all the late, late model 40 series had PS as standard. Havn't really had time to go over it yet although it has developed a leak after offroad thrashing last week! Engine bay doesn't look so clean now - fan has thrown P/S fluid all over the place:doh: I'll see if I can organise some pics this weekend when I try to find the problem.

Tied down a tarp on there for the trip home from Fraser but the ocky straps dissapeared somehow but the tarp stayed put without them! And yes makes a great seat too!

very nice, congrats!!! really dig the island shots; it's what us yanks dream about.....:crybaby:

their around...not very common though, that ones down in auz im i think judging by the plates on it i think...why pick up a gasser though? sweet rig, i like the troopies and the pickups....awesome rigs

Is that a headlight from a TRAIN???

Nice looking rig!
What seat do you have in the rear? I am looking to replace my rear troop seats with a fwd facing one.
