No, a lift will not affect your warranty. Most mods will not unless you start radically cutting into wiring, etc that directly affect the vehicle in some way. We work on all kinds of modified Toyotas - even sell them with lifts, tires, etc.

Toyota is very reasonable about modifications. If anybody tells you otherwise when you need warranty work, go to a different dealership.

I saw the modified 200 on Slees websight - that is one very tasty 200!>>

Hey Guys,

I bought my first Landcruiser today. I'm very excited !!

I picked up a 1985 FJ60. Now, I'm just working on getting it through emissions or registered without emissions.

Any ideas ??

Hello All

My name is Ralph and I am a former Land Rover addict. Mainly the old RR Classics. I decided to convert and just boght a 1996 LX450. I figured since I'm getting older I wanted something more comfortable as well as capable.

I have plans for small suspension lift to help with clearance and a slightly larger set of tires.

I've been on a ot of trail runs with the Land Rover group. Would love to get on the list of trail runs with this group.

Live in North Phoenix around Bell and 7th street.
 
Hello everyone- Been four wheelin' since I could reach a clutch. I used to putt around the farm in an old jeep back in the day. Have had a few early broncos, IH Scout, Jeeps, and an '83 Toyota truck, Fj40, 4runners, and now I am currently without a vehicle. I was a member of the TLCA, and may still be, I am not sure if that is a one time thing or annual.

After the aformentioned extended deliberation I am settling in for an LX 450, or FZJ80. If anyone has a bead on a good one I would be grateful for a heads up. Until then I will be searching for a rig and looking forward to getting together on an event sometime.

I do have some insight on the "man" (government land management agencies) and am available to answer questions to the best of my abilities in an effort to educate, and keep our dreams of access alive.

As a side note there was mention of modding vehicles under warranty a couple of posts ago. If you have a vehicle under warranty and want to modify it study the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act. (spelling?) It was passed to protect vehicle owners that add aftermarket accessories from losing their warranty coverage.

Thanks to the people that keep this board alive. I finally registered after a very long time lurking and learning. :cheers:

Hey Everyone, my name is Scott. Been a toyota/cruiser addict since i could talk. I currently own a 88 4Runner that my dad bougt brand new. It has a SAS, All Pro rear bumper, Marlin Crawler front bumper and i did a 5 speed swap. I also have a 69 FJ40 that im working on and have owned 4 other Land Cruisers. I have been wanting to join a club in the area. Nice to know you guys are here. Ill come out check out the cruise night this month and see what you guys are all about.
