Hi, long time lurker, first post.

I had a '91 pickup for a decade. We sold it a couple of years ago when we were expecting a child. We flew south to buy a perfectly rust free, many owner '11 LC sight unseen . We purchased it with 189k miles and drove 1000 more home. It has 206k miles now despite being our favorite vehicle. We don't really drive much but we love this thing. I've done a bunch of small things so far:

- spark plugs, pcv valve (oil cap was milky), valve cover gaskets (leaking), radiator (it blew), water pump, thermostat, coolant hoses and heater Ts, serpentine belt & tensioner, idler pulley, fan bracket mount, viscous fan clutch (was making noise which is why I replaced the fan bracket mount)
- brake fluid flush, PS flush, partial coolant flush
- a number of fluid film coatings
- VLine GROM for carplay
- belt moldings, hood struts, tailgate cable
- fan blower motor (squeaking), fixed the HVAC blend door
- tires

It has Tundra wheels for some reason, I don't mind the look. I plan on doing a transmission flush and a real coolant flush. I'm also looking for some cross bars for the roof rack which is why I made this account, so that I can post in the classifieds.

Anyway, thanks for having me here and for reading my intro!

P.S. The pickup now lives in Guatemala and has been completely restored by its new owner.

Hello from Boston!

Welcome, although you can’t officially join the gang here until you post a picture or two, ideally one of the old rig too!

Welcome. That’s a good list of work so far and some of those were not small things :) Maybe clean out the sunroof drains this spring?

Thanks everyone! I will have to find some good pictures to post. I did all the work in my tiny driveway aside from the tires. If anyone has any TPMS questions I learned a lot on that mission as well.

I also had to do the radiator twice, the first one I put in had a hairline crack in it from shipping.

welcome (ex providence/Brown - resident here)

I chuckled at your “many owner” 200.

Please post some pics of the beauty

I'm also looking for some cross bars for the roof rack which is why I made this account, so that I can post in the classifieds.
Welcome and congrats on the 200.

No need to post in the classified section, just take a drive up the Maine and I'll trade you two of them for a couple adult beverages.

I believe we are the fifth owners. This was from a trip up to VT recently.

Wow, you weren’t kidding when you said it was rust free! Beautiful truck! Congrats and welcome.
