Looks awesome. Don't forget Westcott has the fenderwell pull back brackets to run 37s without rub if you go that route. Also this picture just convinced me to place my order, so thanks.

You mean these? 😁

I guess I need the front upper shim in to clear 37 and maybe downsize width...these contact the front bumper way too much...womp womp...(37x13.5 x 17)

Yeah, i got 35's and still rubs mildly on full lock.

Sweet build 👍

Those TRDP wheels for sale?

well... I'll be waiting ;)

Checking in on this build. We outgrew our 200 series have nabbed a 2024 Pro Sequoia.

Current plans:
**Run an anderson charger for our patriot camper. Though presently uncertain of what might be needed to make this work. Like others have said, don't want to blow up the car.
**Upgrade tires to....305/70/18 KO2s, or 295/70/18 AT4s (anyone have thoughts on those options?)
**Keep TRD Pro suspension, love the way it rides, just don't want tire rub.
**Wescott sliders...unless there are other options.

Would love to see updates to your build and I'll certainly be posting the same. Ultimately we are trying to keep the weight down and again I just love the way this rides out of the box, minus the tire size.

I'm at a standstill currently.

Dissent ghosted me on the kit they were going sell me for piggybacking the battery system. Obviously, you have the same concern of shorting out the car or blowing it up!

I also came across a modified CBI Baja tundra bumper that 'fits" the Sequoia. And I love the approach clearance on this much better than the CBI covert bumper....so waiting to see if the Sequoia adapts this as an option.

Couple all this with ski season travelling, I e been pretty stale with playing with my toys.

Still waiting on a decent deal for a winch too- patience is my mantra right now.

Impressive and inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Did you get 37s to fit without rub? If so, what’s the magic sauce - width, offset, voodoo?

What’s been the mpg hit?

And I don’t suppose that 37” full size spare fits? Does a 35” full spare even fit?

Thanks!

I had the shop test my 35 AT (came out at 35.25") and it wasn't even close to fitting in the spare space. Maybe certain types of 35s can fit at minimal psi, but not mine.

Also, for anyone else out there with a large family, how is the sequoia for daily duties and interstate road trips with 5 kiddos and the wife?

I test drove one with our 200 brought to the dealership for comparison. The sequoia is definitely bigger inside than the 200. And we do ok all crammed into the 200 for family adventures with a Thule roof box. Thanks to LRA (40 gal), we stop for potty breaks more than gas.

My theory is the sequoia would be comfortable for the 7 occupants, just not much room left for cargo. Cargo would have to go on the roof or on the hitch.

Anyone have real world experience to share with seven seat belts in active use?

The alternative is a duramax Suburban, but Toyota is preferred.

Cargo space is definitely at a minimum with the third row in use. I do fine as a family of 4 with 3rd row folded for travel. Using the 3rd as seats, you will want a roof box

My family is much smaller than yours, only 1 kiddo but do have a dog. We've made several shorter trips with another family in my Sequoia. 4 adults, 2 kids in car/booster seats, and some luggage. As long as the people in the back are smaller (my wife is 5'4") the sequoia is actually very comfortable.

Can you fit in a standard 7' (84 inch) garage?
I will be installing a prinsu rack, 35" k02's, and the westcott front level only and worried if it'll still fit in the garage.

I have 35" AT4Ws, westcott 3/1 on the TRD Pro, and a Yakima load platform rack which is slightly lower profile than a Prinsu, and I am currently sitting at 6'8". Even with the slightly taller Prinsu, you should be fine.
