Any ideas/help is greatly appreciated.

2013 LC. I was converting the interior bulbs to LEDS. I had done the 3rd row dome light and front seat map lights a few weeks back, no issues. I was putting some different bulbs in the bottom of the doors as I wanted more light down there. I replaced the drivers side rear door light, no problem. Then moved to the drivers door. I put that light in and it went in and out. I jiggled it a bit and same thing, went on and off. I had to leave and I left the door open for probably 25 minutes. When I came back all the interior lights were out. I figured I could just close the door. open it and lights would come back on. No such luck. Left the door closed overnight, still no lights. Changed the bulb, no luck. Changed the bulb back to the standard bulb, no luck. So I manually tried the switches on the 3rd row dome, nothing. I tried the switch on the dash to control the brightness of the dash lights and turn on all the interior lights, no luck. Checked for fuses. Pulled the 7.5 amp under the hood, it was fine. Put a new 7.5 amp fuse in just in case, no luck. The glovebox light and the dash seem to be the only lights that work on the interior. Service Manager at Toyota scratched his head and started pushing buttons, like the SOS button. CLearly no help and they didn't have time to look at it.

Any suggestions?

thank you

All of the fuses? No. I went through the manual and that seemed to be the only possible culprit...

Play with the "on/off" switch, push it but don't engage it all the way and see if your lights flicker.

Nothing, except the noise goes off (as I am driving home from work stopped at a red light). No lights

Only other thing I can think of is swap the front map lights back to stock and see if that helps, if not it could be the on/off switch or connection to. Ever since I changed the front to LEDs I get an intermittent flicker if I'm turning lights on/off with the button, I always wondered if I jiggled something loose on that switch and you mentioning made me think of it.

This might strike you as silly...but I mention it because it's happened to others on the forum before:

=Did you check and make sure that you didn't accidentally bump the "all lights off" button near the map lights? Those little buttons are pesky...and one of them deactivates interior lights on my rig. Make sure it isn't pressed in.

Just did

, Turned each switch, the 2 "spot" switches, the "on/off" switch and the "door" switch. Nothing....sigh...thanks for the ideas

No, didn't work either, but thanks.

And BTW, Bubba looks fantastic!

I am out of options so I'll give it a shot.

I feel like it is related to the doors being open. Does anyone know if they are programmed to shut themselves off after a period of time?

I assume you replaced the 7.5A DOME2 fuse? There is also a 5A DOME1 fuse, may one to check that one as well.

My dome lights automatically turn off if I leave the door or rear hatch open, I think it takes about 5 minutes. I'm one of many that has swapped all my bulbs to leds with no issues.

Me too. Lights turn off after a while. More than 5 minutes on mine, but they do turn off...until I close and open a door again...or open a different door that was still closed. I actually wish I could disable the auto-off...especially since the LED's use only 10% the power that OEM bulbs do (1 watt per LED vs. 10 watts per bulb!).

Sooo... Didja figure it out?

Sorry for the late response. Was on vacation with the family in Florida. First road trip in the 200 and I must agree when someone on here said these 200's just eat up the miles. 10 hours in the car and no sore legs (I am 6'3) no sore back (and I am on the wrong side of 40). God I love this car

So, I pulled the lights that I had replaced in the bottom of the doors and put the stocks back in (left the LEDS in the map lights in the front seat and left the LED dome light in the 3rd row in). Replace BOTH fuses (even though they showed as good). Eureka! Must have been something screwy with the bulbs, but it makes no sense. Now that I am back I may try again with a different set of lights and will report back.
