Having owned domestic brand vehicles in the past, where you get used to the little things breaking and slowly not working properly, I’m continually impressed with the fit and finish of all the interior parts of our Land Cruiser. We’ve had ours for 7 years and 115k miles and have taken it on too many trips to count (including a 4000 mile adventure from Memphis to Joshua Tree National Park). We do take care of it but it’s not babied, and we have 4 kids that climb all over everything (my “keep your hands and feet off the headliner” rule has payed off however. I do need to replace the pop out cup holder on second row, but most everything else is good. Just wanted to share — are others having the same experience?

I’m restoring one that a family was really hard on. The accumulation of filth is amazing.. but after cleaning.. a lot of the interior is in relatively good shape considering the level of abuse.

I think it likely comes down to the fact that some people take better care of their vehicles, however I do think the materials in the land cruiser are more durable overall.

Yeah, front Escape Gear seat covers and about to recover my steering wheel . Normal wear use, exceptional build quality. 210k.

Everything works. Every switch, every accessory. Except for my D light which is out and I prefer it that way.
