I'll be bringing my new Tuffy Products fire pan. We can use that for a community fire pit. I'll bring some wood, probably have enough for the first night. So toss some on your roof racks.

I just picked up some wood to contribute to the pool.

I have some firewood I am bringing as well.

Truck is going into the shop Friday morning to try and work out some alignment issues that Firestone just cant get right. Hopefully I can put all this to rest. Either way, unless something major comes up I will see you all Saturday morning.

Some stuff came up at home and I won't be able to make it this weekend :( :( have fun.

Hope everything is ok and works out! I woke up today with a chest cold. I am doing my best to fight it.

Load up on the vitamin C! My wife is sick and may not make it. Hopefully I don't get sick!

My cruiser developed an electrical gremlin and started running on 5 cylinders so I'll just take the Hummer if I can't fix it. I"ll be damned if this truck is going to keep me from another trip wrenching on it.

Elripster - Like the attitude. This cold isnt going to keep me either... Just might be in surgical gloves and face mask at night.... Just kidding.... maybe! But I may not shake hands and keep a little distance. I figure it is better for me to get out of the house and not infect the wife, 3 yr old and 6 mo old.

I feel you on the cold thing. My wife and son are just getting over one

I did fix the truck. A plug wire popped off the distributor so I bent the tabs a bit to make them all stick better. That improved the idle. I was blowing the tail light fuse and it was either due to the hideous trailer wiring or two bare connectors that used to run the headlight washer. Either way those loose connectors are history and I cut the tap spliced wire off of main green wire to the trailer mess and no more blown fuses. I'm happy to be bringing the cruiser.

Nice! We are leaving San Diego around 7am and hope to be at Fish Creek camp ground by 9am. I'll be monitoring cb ch 38 and 146.46 ham. Cruiser is loaded and ready to go!

What a fun trip. The 60 chugged its way home from it inaugural off road trip with only a few battle wounds, a CEL and an issue with the front springs.

I'm glad we didn't do any more wheeling Sunday, when we got home the springs had flattened completely out. I have sent an email to the manufacturer to get a warranty replacement.

Sad / scary story. Just as we turned on to Hwy 78 to head home we hit some big head winds right away. Just passed Main St. I pulled over to check it out. About 30-45 seconds later I hear all sorts of sirens. After getting things on the roof rack secured, I hit the road and come to a stop about 45 seconds up the road due to an accident. One person said a motorcycle hit a Jeep head on. Claire could see a person on the ground being attended to. Scary to think how close you can come to being near the scene or become the scene of an accident.

So onto some pics!

My son Daniel had a blast. The faster I drove the more he laughed and loved every minute of it.

Fun trip! Just got home and unloaded! Scary about that accendent! We just missed a pretty gnarly collision in that first town after Julian. Looked like some one ran a light. The truck was totaled but we didnt see a 2nd car. Just glad to be home and safe! I will get some pictures up soon!

Blue- I think you forgot your Cabela folding table. I have it and we can work out getting it back to you.

Cheers!

Oops, the folding table is mine. Just more incentive to plan another 4wd trip sooner rather then later.

I had a great time. Super group of cruiser heads! Thanks for posting the pictures Frank.

So how was the trip to the mud caves?
