I had a blast. This was the first time I have ever camped in the desert. It was great to meet a bunch of friendly & fun land cruiser enthusiasts. I think Blue is onto something with the annual Anza Borrego Land Cruiser Pilgrimage.

Few things learn't
1. Be sure to stake down your tent and put rocks over the pegs so strong wind gusts at 2am in the morring don't blow your tent away!

2. My next mod is going to be a new rear bumper as my stock hitch was scraping all over the place
3. Don't expect to pull up to Fonts Pt and have it all to yourself. You may be greated by a 6 wheel huge Military tour bus full of tourists!
4. Trophy trucks are awesome, specially at 11pm running the canyons with their super bright hid lights
5. Don't ride in another Cruiser that has all of the awesome mods already done. It can become addicting! - Thanks Mxndrnks for the fun ride up and down Diablo Drop today.

I can't wait to get back out there again. I'll post photos sometime tomorrow.

Just got home. Too cold to camp in Julian. I could not even get pie. All the restaurants had crazy long lines out the door. Great trip, my son had a lot of fun. I did get my first $100 fill up for gas in Julian, that was not cool. Thanks to everybody for coming out, that was awesome. Next year, bring your hid lights. There will be a night run. :-)
Mud caves were cool. Glad we made the run over there. Definitely, multiple days could be spent there.

Jonathan your pictures look great.

I'm happy that the lift kit company said there were no issues warrantying my front springs. We discussed the issue and agreed that a longer shackle with some trimming of that bumper bracket would remedy the issue.

Now all I need is another trip... er... goal to get me to get the 60 the rest of the way "there".

Looked like a great trip guys. Added to my "places to see" list.

sandstone is one of my favorites there, if not the favorite. Spectacular.

There was a gigantic boulder that fell 2 or 3 years ago somewhere on the way of getting there that I had to drive around on a bit of a side slope and that was keeping people out. Is that still the case?

You can drive into Sandstone Canyon most of the way. For hundy's there is a narrowing of the road that is not passable due to the width our trucks. However, that did not stop other jeeps and samari's from charging through to the end of the canyon.

I've never been to the end due to the cave in, so I don't know how much we didn't see.
