Gettin ready to pull the trigger on 5 new tires for my 40...Wanting to mount on the stock rims with a 33x10.5x15...Thought my only current options were $Toyo$ or BF Goodrich...(KO'S mud or all terrian)..then I went to Interco's website and see these SS-M16 radials also offered in a 33x10.50x15 size...think its a fairly new offering and probably pretty pricey as well....Have searched for reviews of this tire and everyone running them seems to be really pleased...Any thoughts on these.???? ...I really dont have any experience or know anybody that owns interco products.

Good tires. Does your rig have a lift kit ?
33's are pretty tall and the 10.5 width is quite a bit for the stock 5.5 inch wide rims too. It'll work but it's really pushing it.

It looks like a beast...but i,m needing a a good on road selection with decent to good off-road ability..my 40 is headed towards being a DD

did you end up getting the m16s?

Im in the same boat as you…looking for some 33x10.50 15's not many options out there...

I just put a set of 33x10.50 KM2s on my truck. I have OME lift with stock shackles. I love them. Not bad road noise and they look great.

That looks more like a belt separation. If it is, that is a manufacturing defect. Did he contact Interco about that and what did they say?

WOW!!!! What caused that? Unless you were running at 100mph or more for hours on end, I can't see heat being the culprit.
I was with him,on my 40 and more TLC on a trip to the beach from Orlando FL to Matanzas Beach, near St. Agustine Fl. back trip same day,hot day and believe me,was the heat on the road,no more than 60 mph cos we drive like an old guy...:steer:. @ the 2 day after that the Bubble rubber the inner lip on the rear fender...Interco don't even believe it. He send the tire but buy new BF Mud with "" some refund ''...what a joke on Interco.

I put some 34x10.5 SS's on the 40.Got 5 for $500 from a project gone bust. They were brand new. They look cool, but my 35x12.5 BFG muds are a much better ride.

I like the way the post started out asking about the SS M16 and quicky you guys hijack it to the Narrow SS...two completely different tires.
I two am looking to get the SS M16...when I can afford them. I was watching the Discovery show called "Sons of Guns" and the main guy has them on his DD, there is a short shot of him talking with and employee and he is leaning on his spare tire...the SS M16. But sorry, I have no info on how well they do on an FJ40.

M16 is a radial sold em alot in larger size and that ride great haven't seen this size I need to ck on them when I get back to work

"" some refund ''...what a joke on Interco.

I'm willing to bet they gave you a 100% of the usable tread back is said refund that pic looks like less then 50% tread why would hey repay for the part of the tire you got to use ??? Interco is one of the best tire company's to deal with on bad tires :meh:
