I’m having trouble finding an insurance company to ensure my 96 Prado Land Cruiser anyone have any companies that make it simple I have the title I got it’s a 12 digit Vin and Ben registered in Florida. The title in Florida is 12 digit so there they’re having trouble figuring it out I went to progressive and GEICO and I’ve had insurance for JDM’s with with Geico and liberty mutual but that was in Hawaii and I’m moving to Florida so I will need insurance for Florida and the title is in Florida. Any help would be helpful. Thank you.

Progressive works fine. Need to talk to them on the phone, they need to manually bypass the 17 digit VIN requirement. If they don't know how, call back and get someone else.

State Farm hasn't had any issues with my odd VINs. FWIW
Does State Farm offer a "value stated policy". I'm currently with GEICO with no issues, but the assigned value is definitely not in line with the real value or replacement cost on the troopy.

To the OP GEICO- had no trouble with my 86 BJ75 with "oddball" Euro VIN, but it took me a couple of calls to talk to a good agent who knew what to do.

Not sure. I do know I had to provide values for my '83 Troopy and my '94 FZJ75 pickup. I do not know whether or not those are stated value policies. Never bothered to ask.
