Instrument lighting too dark - how do I replace with LEDs? (1 Viewer)

Hi folks,
Bought my first ever 100 Cruiser and love it. It's the HDJ100R-GNPEZQ.
My understanding of the instrument panel lighting is very limited. Mine is all fine except I'd like it brighter because it's very hard to see anything especially during the day.
Is it true that there are small bulbs of different colours behind each symbol? Are there 'general lighting' bulbs that are white?
I really have no idea and can't find a diagram to help.

Even after turning all the way up, the lights are still hardly noticeable during day time (but good enough at night). Is this normal for LC?

Yeah, that's how it works. The LC cluster is not illuminated during the day, unlike the LX cluster.

Pretty sure dash lights don’t even turn on until your headlights are on
