Hi folks,
Bought my first ever 100 Cruiser and love it. It's the HDJ100R-GNPEZQ.
My understanding of the instrument panel lighting is very limited. Mine is all fine except I'd like it brighter because it's very hard to see anything especially during the day.
Is it true that there are small bulbs of different colours behind each symbol? Are there 'general lighting' bulbs that are white?
I really have no idea and can't find a diagram to help.
Thanks in advance from sunny Western Australia

did you turn the dash light dimmer all the way up?

Even after turning all the way up, the lights are still hardly noticeable during day time (but good enough at night). Is this normal for LC?
Pretty sure dash lights don’t even turn on until your headlights are on

Yes, thank you.

My rather Plain Jane diesel 105 also has a very dim panel. In the daytime you can hardly make out the LCD odometer, but it might be sun-damaged.

At night with the lights on the cluster is also very dim... But get this: my 105 does not have an instrument cluster dimmer. The planel where it normally sits is just smooth plasstic. I can't see where or how to adjust panel brightness.

Here are a couple of the old auction photos:

If anyone has any ideas on this, I'd be most grateful
