Going to attemp to install the new throttle cable in our 1995 LC tomorrow. Any hints or tips?

I believe its just a matter of unhooking the old one, and hooking up the new one? Correct?

Thanks!

There's a bracket attached to your brake master cylinder that might be difficult.

I'm pretty sure all the lumps in the cable slide out in one direction, then you can pull them out of the brackets.

Let me know how easy it is. Mine needs replaced soon.

It's pretty straightforward. Made a big difference for me. Mine was sticking and causing erratic high idle.

Seems like it has to come off the throttlebody and pull back into the cab, so....post up how difficult it was, I just finished a bunch of work under the hood and mine is horrible, the plastic coating shedding off like crazy, but I didn't order one yet so its all together for now..........someone on here shrinkwrapped theirs and if I have to remove it to do that I will just replace with new, so temporarily will prob just wrap with good ole black tape [I know, I know], but anything is better than that rusty cable under the hood.

It's super easy. Seriously takes like 15 minutes. The outer coating isn't that important. There's an inner plastic sleeve the cable slides in.
