I was wondering if this was to much slop between the gears in my transfercase. all ive rebuilt before is chain driven chevy transfercases so not sure what the exceptible amount of movement would be between the gears

There is no spec for backlash, so it isn't telling you anything. There is a spec for thrust clearnance on the idler gear. The main problem these cases have is wear on the idler gear shaft and bearings. If you can't take it out to inspect it, look for metal flakes on the drain plug.

thanks for the replys i figured it out after talking to the SOR tech guys. they definetly know there stuff. and yea the video sucks took it with my cell phone ha ha
