I mostly work on high end bicycles and found the perfect installation drift as part of a suspension bearing install kit I have. This seal is delicate to install since it goes in front first. The drift fits perfectly inside the metal shell without damaging the rubber seal.
You can order the drift by itself for $9 and then carefully use a hammer to tap it in.
I used my Enduro Bearings BRT-060-MH press which rides on a thrust bearing and keeps everything centered.
