Damn. Ever try to take a closeup pic of a very reflective surface with a so-so camera?
Yep, manual focus is really the only way, just set the focus to like 1' and snap away...if your camera has manual focus ofcourse, luckily mine does...

That sounds very iffy, just dropping off ebay like that. I've never seen a seller do that...maybe so people couldn't write him through ebay and ask for more of them... :D

My take on it is that he thought he'd be selling them at higher prices on eBay than what he ended up getting so he pulled them. Or perhaps he was concerned that customers that purchased through regular channels would be pissed to see that these parts were selling for around $50 on eBay.

Interesting.... I got mine today (sorry Scott - but don't try to outbid me at the last minute :flipoff2: ) and went to leave feedback. The seller is no longer a registered user. Hmm, wonder if the sale of these was on the up and up  Not saying it wasn't, but this whole thing is just odd.
bitch :flipoff2:

If I would have known it was you I wouldn't have bid on that one. I called him when I noticed that they were all gone and he said that he still has some and would sell them outright for around $150. See what happens when I wait to long to jump on the bandwagon, I wanted one just for a spare also.

I saw a few more on ebay. Same seller as before, but higher starting price -- seem to recall it being $120, but don't recall for sure...
