I’m New

Hello fellow FJ45 owners, my name is Keaton. For those of you who where at SAS 2 may already know me, but that is where I caught the bug and got a 1978 FJ45! I would really appreciate guidence and advice while I restore it to its original glory. I am happy to be apart of this group and to learn about these wonderful treasures. (My dad is also on Mud @ceylonfj40nut.)

Yeah I also had passed by this rig multiple times not looking closely to see if it was a LV or an actual truck and eventually my brother found it and realized it was a truck with a camper.

So what is the country of origin? No heater and RHD. I also don’t recognize that front license plate.

The truck is originally from Africa, but we found it in Kodiak, Alaska.

Specifically Lesotho, Africa.

You should hold on to the plate, if you have not already decided to.

I am going to keep the plate and put it up in the barn and as to keeping the thread here there is more traffic in the 40-55 section.
