Interesting Land Snail.

There is a LC- Club in South Africa. Maybe someone know the history of your Land Snail.

I feel like I can get more opinions on problems that may occur during the build if I have it in the 40-55 section.

This 45 has no place in the 40 section. It has nothing in common? I never look in the 40 section for 45 info or advice? Not sure why you want it there? Sure more people will see it, but you will get the info and support in the 45 club. You will be in the diesel forum as well...

We will try not to if we can peel back the pink and white paint and reveal the dune beige paint that it was painted at one time during its life time, but if we can't we might paint it. (This is not for sure.)

I’m always a big fan of build threads (or whatever you want to call them) in their respective clubhouses. It doesn’t preclude you from making a specific post for a problem in the 40 section. I’ve done it many times and tends not to clutter up your thread with banter and BS!

I know you guys want it here, but doesn't the 40-55 section include 45's as well. If you actually click on it it says 1958 to 1984 -- FJ40, FJ43, FJ45, FJ55 -- 40-series, 55-series.

45's are the best of the best, the elite, the rarest of the rare [in your country anyway ], so if you want to be part of the club then stay here but if you want to be just a regular, normal, garden variety 40 series owner then by all means, remain in the 40-55 section

All jokes aside, put it wherever you want. A fella did an FJ45 troopy build over there and it got bulk traffic. Over here is a bit more personal. The boys probably just want someone new to play with in the sandpit!
