I dont have a ikamper dealio, but I have the shadow awn. Here is a look at the alucab frontrunner brackets.
These are mounted on my home made rack. Obviously they will not work on the prinsu, but you can easily just use a section of thick wall square tubing to bolt onto the sides of the vertical side rails. The inner box on the shadow awn has a bunch of predrilled holes, just line it up and mount it. It will feel more sturdy if you add a mount right at the rear hinge area for when it is open.
I would say 1"x 4" maybe 3/16" wall tubing would work. Maybe a couple of 6 inch spans to spread the weight.
Those are specifically made for Frontrunner slimline racks. But they worked with my home brew rack since I used 1x2 aluminum extrusions, similar to the front runner setup.Come on out! There is always room for more.
Those are some seriously beefy mounting points... Holy cow. Are they specific to your rack?
Is that the batwing or manta awning? And clearance wise the hunger doesn’t affect anything. I got a Ikamper 2.0 on my alu cab explorer canopy and I wanna run a 270 awning on driver side.I agree on everything here. I love the Line-X you had done to the shell too! So rad. A foxwing or Alucab would work fine and combined with the iKamper awning you have all sides covered with shade. Here is the hinge side open for clearance reference. I have the Eezi Awn Swift. I actually now work at Rhino Adventure Gear in California and sell iKampers. I’ve done many iKamper installs with Batwing awnings. You can definitely run a 270 awning with the AluCab canopy. Rhino Rack makes a large variety of beefy awning brackets that mate with most 270s that will mount to the AluCab crossbars and get the awning in the correct position with the iKamper. Is that the batwing or manta awning? I assume the HD awning brackets they make for the batwing is the one your are talking about?I have the Eezi Awn Swift. I actually now work at Rhino Adventure Gear in California and sell iKampers. I just got a Prinsu on my 200 to swap my Ikamper over to it from my 100. How did you go about mounting the Ikamper extrusions to the sLine 1X2 of the Prinsu together? I was looking at these.
