Working on bumpstop mounts and some light mounts. This is probably difficult to read cause I’m all over the place. My bad

Man I am not consistent with posting but some stuff happened on the cruiser project

Then gave it a coat of primer that had a little bit of body color to tint it.
He tinted it for a few reasons
1- he thought it was funny
2- when it scratches the pink will show through and he thinks that’s really funny
3- it would make the final body color and deeper red

So while Trent was working on the body I tore the chassis down finished welding what it needed and got it painted black. Then started to assemble

Got it back into a roller and pulled the trans about 6 times cause I’m an idiot. Was originally going to run an internal slave cylinder but really wasn’t happy so pulled it then set it of for external slave cylinder then the throw out bearing wouldn’t work because of the LS flywheel I was using. So found a bearing that would work and jammed it in. All good now

The body got sprayed with Viper Red and raptor liner on the inside and I love it!
It was a very down and dirty quick cheap paint job with minimal ish work since it’s a rock crawler but I’m super happy

This is how she sits right now. Chipping away at it slowly I’m about $2500 away from driving it lol
Does your buddy make the CV/f100 hardware- ie backyard customz ?

It looks like one of the track bars is REALLY close to the exhaust. Say it aint so.

The link bars are extremely close. But this is at full bump so it won’t get any closer.
Wheelbase is 120”
Funny, I was looking at his stuff and decided to make my own. If I had know he was so close and I could skip the shipping, I probably would have bought his kit. Small world.
