- that's my fact based observation after clicking his link he posted al over 60 series TECH ...


- i have never heard or seen this type of " THING " go on here on MUD before ?

- i posted HERE in CHAT because he is NOT a SUPPORTING MEMBER and does not have access to this FORUM


- what the H#LL is gofund.me anyway ?



- nobody FUNDS ME , except my wife when i need some GAS & BEER pocket money after a long day in the SKUNK-WORKS


any thoughts anyone on this unique topic above ?

Well, even if it's not a "scam" per se, it is (a) very poor form to spam a forum to raise money for yourself, and (b) hilarious to think that a bunch of folks who are scrimping and saving to upgrade their own rigs are going to help some random dude raise $100,000 to fix up his FJ62.

IF there is an FJ62.

Go Fund Me has its place, like once my buddy's garage got broken into and someone stole his welder and tools. He's a good guy who contributes to the scene, so some people chipped into help him replace his stuff. But that was like $800, not 100 grand lol.

At any rate, I've reported the post and assume that a ban will be forthcoming.
