Thanks, that's awesome! People here are great...only thing is, do you or anyone else have any idea how much it would cost to ship it?

Um, dude...if you got to ask how much for a free engine, you can't afford it....

Don,t know but will find out.We have Overland Freight hear its called. We get lots of stuff for our logging co. from the states and its not to bad.

Therre is one other way to try to break it loose, drag it with a tow strap at about 15 miles an hour pop the clutch in gear:)

Here is a pic of the engine ,was a perfect runner ,odometer said 76 000 miles, gave the exaust header to a guy and the intake but you have that . Had exellant oil press.

even with the plugs in, you should be able to turn a 2f by pulling on the belts. if it doesn't turn, you can pull plugs and try, but they are not that hard to turn.

on romer's engine, the bearings had seized to the crank. it was an easy fix. drop the pan, drop the caps, pull what you can of the bearing material, emery cloth the journals, install new bearings and run a heavier oil. worked for years in my old lemon and worked just fine in his rig.

hopefully yours will be just as easy.

Locked up tight...won't turn via the belts even with plugs out. I'm going to have to break the engine down to see the extent of the damage. At this point I will pull the motor, and replace it. When I get the time, I'll break it down to find out what's damaged, then fix it and offer it to someone else at whatever it costs me to fix it + shipping since dargreg was generous enough to offer his to me for shipping.

what a deal

your luck day--I paid I think around $250 to ship mine from pa to florida with the xfer case and trans

No kidding...sometimes God smiles on me. I can't say how grateful I am. It was pretty disheartening to have this happen after the amount of work I've put into it, but dargreg's offer made up for all of it. It's unbelievable how nice people can be.

drop your pan and main/rod caps. bet it's there.

Karma

DARGREg will have ultimate cruiser Karma for years:lol::lol:

be interested what you find when you look it over if you do---maybe some pics for us of the carnage?
