this makes the new 70 series wagon i'm seeing in australia much more appealing. 4 doors, solid front axle, v8 turbo diesel as standard (only one turbo though ) and 5 speed manual/standard cog swapper. coils front and leaves rear.

It's a blind-spot mirror.

It is fitted to huge numbers of 4x4's in Japan. I don't know if it's a fashion, or a legal requirement.

It does work well, although it looks a little strange to the unfamiliar eye.

As well as not dropping the left wheel(s) into a ditch, trying to move over all the way to the leftesthillbilly side of the road while squeezing past an on-coming vehicle in insanely narrow streets.

I don't have one of those mirrors, but wish I did sometimes.

Yes it will. I can't imagine a 0-60 or 0-100 run between your 100 and the new 2008.

Yeah a cutting torch works really well. That was pretty stupid of Toyota in my opinion.

I wasn't impressed. The 100 series is much nicer in my opinion.

This might have been stated somewhere, but I've read in a magazine that at least in Europe (thought they were not going to be offered there anymore though) are going to get the 4.?ltr twin-turbocharged diesel engine with 286bhp and 66kg(sorry I forgot the Newton figure thingy).

They only mentioned the gasoline engine for the N. America though...
