New wheels, new one won't fit in spare area

Just got new wheels and tires, it's not the tire that won't fit but the wheel itself.....

The opening on my new wheels is just a small cap that comes off but nowhere near big enough for this anchor piece to go inside of it. Am I out of luck?

This big a$$ thing won't go into the opening.

I believe the rock warrior guys have the same issue and have to trim the mechanism somehow.

@sdnative Thank you! It worked. You end up cutting the sleeve at the base and slide it up the chain so you can angle it in.

Worked perfectly and only burned up one dremel disc!

While you are in there mucking about, grease up the winding mechanism. Many, myself including use marine grease.
