I really didn't like the windshield jet pattern so $20 and 20 minutes fixed that. (1 Viewer)

I replaced the original two nozzles. Then this happens....

I tried those spray pattern before. Problem is when driving at high speeds. Most mist fly off the roof without touching the glass and secondly, the spray sprads all over the glass and can obstruct the front view. Mitsubishi has mist spray parrern and I used those nozzles

Was wondering if nozzels from an FJ cruiser p/n 8538134030 will fit they look the same size just not sure if they will spray on the windshield correctly or not

I installed these yesterday, but it doesn't really spray very far up the windshield. I tried adjusting the nozzles up, but they spray right on to the wipers instead of further up on the glass. It seems like less than half the fluid that gets sprayed out even makes above the wiper blade, most of it ends up as a puddle on the ground.

Hmm...sorry about your poor experience...mine will practically spray over the windshield if I adjust it that way. Maybe yours is leaking? You know how when you get a crack in a straw and then it doesn't work for s***? Or perhaps your pump is tired? IDK

I spent more time trying to find a sweet spot, and I got my passenger side working well enough, but my driver side doesn't want to cooperate. There could be a leak, water does run down the hood, but I can't tell if it's an actual leak or just the "turning the hose off" effect.

One thing I did notice was every time I go to use these, I have to hold it for a second before water comes out, even if I just used it a few second prior. The OEM ones seemed to hold water and/or pressure and you could actually get a few quick squirt off before the wipers kicked on.

Sure sounds like a leak....mine will sit for a week or two and spray almost immediately.

So yeah, turns out that toyota part number 8538134030 is an exact fit, spray pattern is also a very welcome upgrade over the original two stream nozzles couldn't take pictures as it is dark outside but will update tomorrow

Excellent. Just ordered a pair.

Please post pics and a short video if you don't mind when you get a moment. Was looking into this myself but replacing with 4Runner sprayers.

Here's a quick pic I took (it is dark outside so not the greatest picture) and a picture showing the nozzle itself from partsouq I will he changing the hoses over the weekend so I will try to take pics of this one and the original two stream type side by side so you guys can see the difference

Yeah I found those on ebay from Partsouq. Will probably place an order in the near future, think they are like $10ea with $12 shipping. But that seems pretty standard for them shipping wise.

You can find it on ebay for $11 with free shipping.
Don't think those are OEM/Genuine though... Looking at the pics of the ones that are on the OEM bag (my assumption) is that OEM have a straight tube attachment. Yours linked are 90* angled. Don't know if that is an issue with our hoods or not.

Wishing...my UZJ100 had the same in-arm washers on my 2007 HD2500 Silverado: Brilliant. Unaffected by wind, works at 0mph or 100mph. Simple, effective and has me thinking about retrofitting similar to the spressoWAGON.

For those unfamiliar with the washers that are integrated into the wiper arms: The sprayers are 1" away from the windshield; completely unaffected by wind speed. Gotta be a way to make this happen on our LandCruisers.

This sounds like a little project for Joey 😊 aka Wits End aka @NLXTACY I'll be the first to buy 😊

Oh man you got me thinking 🤔

Shouldn't be too bad. I had those on my 2004 HD2500

Amazon has the arms that you posted for sale individually for about $40 total. Might be interesting to buy the driver's side first (cheaper) and see if it could be retrofitted somehow.
