I need help pulling the trigger

Ive been on here researching 100s and 120s for the better oart of a year and aggressively searching for 100s up and down the east coast for a month. most are seemungly good until you look under them and yesterday i saw one thats a little over budget and not sure if ishould pounce.

Details:
06, burgundy, 189k miles, one owner, serviced every 4k, timing belt down at 100k, 7 marks on ahc test, nav, frames got some surface rust but pretty good.

Leaking heater Ts, ball joint boots, starting to seep, from a horse farm and has a trailer brake so could have seem some decent stress, some pretty good scratches in the paint.

My budget was 13500 max and she came down to 14. is it that good a deal at 14 that i should suck it up?

Here are some 2006 prices I have seen over the last year of my search:
2006, 98K miles, a lot of rust underneath, fair condition = $21,500
2006, 178K miles, air bag light on, some bumper damage, headlight broken = $13,500
2006, 100K miles, wreck history airbag deployed, some trim lose on rear corner = $19,500

For a $13,500 budget you are going to have to accept some problems.

I personally think that's a fair price from what I've seen. But it is also my favorite color, if it was gold I might not say the same lol.

People ask for insane amount of money for LC here, and the thing is, it sells too, because they disappear pretty fast. I searched for months before i found my 01 LC that was bone stock, light rust, with 185K.

2005 Toyota Land Cruiser

stretching my budget is a bit of an understatement there! the budget is there becuase its all the money i have in the bank even if i saved longer i realy int want to put 20k on a car i MIGHT put 4k miles on a year at most between beach and ski trips

Did you get a chance to see the service history? Run a Carfax.

Dealer serviced every 4k miles. Not the stricticed service as far as packed bearings and trans flushes but she never turned down recomended service. clean car fax.

Heater T's, ball joint boots and a complete PM of all fluids will cost you and shouldn't be put off on a truck that's towed horses (they are heavy). Can you afford the PM if you buy over your budget? Will it also need tires? What I'm saying is look at the total cost of initial ownership and not just the purchase price.

Regardless of what 100 you pick, I would NOT buy one at the top end of your price range. It will require some maintenance. The newest 100 you can buy is already 10 years old. I'd also be cautious of a 100 used to tow a horse trailer around.
