Hello everyone,
before I get to the point I will admit that I have read all threads about this issue here and elsewhere, numerous times over last 8 months or so. I have spent tremendous amount of time and money to find a remedy... and I still I cease to give up though. Maybe some of could help...
I have given the interwebs my best search, and no luck.
I want widebody fenders, not stick on silly plastics garishes.
The fenders are metal, so why not work the metal? If you can make an entire new vehicle with metal shaping tools, why not increase a fender's overall extension?
Just...
Hey mud, I've had my 97 fzj80 for 5k miles. When I first got it I replaced the valve cover, the hoses, and the radiator. I also replaced the fluids and got new tires. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a smell coming from the car when I drove it. Yesterday while driving I saw the temperature gauge...
Everything was going fine until I was getting ready to actually separate the damn thing from the transmission and it would not let go. Took an hour of working around the edges with a pry bar just to get it where it’s at in the picture.
Tcase is secured to the jack and about level with the...
Hello all -
I'm looking for the definitive instructions (hopefully video) on pulling the a/c evaporator/expansion valve housing from under the dash, on a '86 FJ60.
I'm replacing all of the A/C components and converting to R134a.
I have new Denso components :

2013 GX 460 - Just bought 2 weeks ago from a dealer in AZ (transported to NM) who insisted it was not that way when it left the lot. The deal is reimbursing me for an alignment, which I got but it is still pulling and veering to the right. Rotated tires, still the same. Alignment place said the...
I posted this in the 70 series thread, I'm trying to desperately address this:
Hello,
I'm having a drifting issue with my 77, it's leaf sprung in the front.
When I bought it pulled a bit to one side, then took it in for an alignment it drove straight.
I then had an issue and needed to...
Hello,
I'm having a drifting issue with my 77, it's leaf sprung in the front.
When I bought it pulled a bit to one side, then took it in for an alignment it drove straight.
I then had an issue and needed to replace a tie rod end, at this time I also swapped in the spare tire, I got it...

Stumbled across an 04, 100 Series. 148k miles and they just did the timing belt and water pump. Our Toyota mechanic didn't have time to do a full inspection today, but he was kind enough to take a quick look under the hood and look underneath. He said there is a small oil leak at the back of...
I am getting a lot of wind noise from the top center of my windshield. It looks like the rubber lip on the trim at the top is hardened up and isn't making a good seal anymore against the body. I've messed with the flexible part of the trim a bit, the noise will get a bit softer but not go...
I've had my '97 40th Anny for about two months now and have put a little over 2k miles on it in that time. I'm loving the feel of the 80 and the whole family is onboard for this Cruiser unlike the project 60 I sold a while back. Not the 60's fault, it was long past it's prime and beyond my skill...
Please excuse me if this is a re-post. I thought I had posted this info last week, but when I went back and looked for it (searching the first 15 pages of this section anyway), I couldn't find it......must've just thought I posted it.
Anyway, I'm still pulling grey interior parts from my '85...
I have a 1992 Toyota 4Runner that's makes a loud clicking/clunking noise every time the drivers side front wheel rotates. It's only on one side, everything appears to be fine looking at it. It used to pull to the left really bad and we tore the front end apart and it was a caliper hanging up. So...
