Ken,

Where'd you buy the upholstery kit? I'll be needing one for my 55:

I know CCOT also sells something like it and SOR. I bought it from Ron at Rocky Mountain so I could go down there and he could tell me how to do it.

Nice truck and Welcome. Watch the clearance on your rear tires, I believe at full flex, assuming you take your truck off-road, you may bend some sheet metal. 36 inch tires, 4 inch lift, and uncut rear fenders will rub. Aside from that, enjoy your new truck, might be seeing you at the Badlands sometime this summer.

rear fenders

Just a heads-up rear fenders=quarter panels ;)

How much do you think needs to be trimmed for clearence. I'm thinking of running that same setup. Truck looks good!

That is a pretty nice one. I got mine about a year and a half ago. I paid a great price for it. I drove it for the summer then decided to do a spring over, sm420, etc and haven't drove it since. should be done soon though.

you're going to love driving it.

Congratulations!

Looks great! Sweet price!
Welcome to the Clan. You'll never meet more helpful or knowledgeable
people than Cruserheads. There is nothing quite like seeing
a bunch of Cruisers swarming the trail together. It's their natural element.

well, in total, it's 6 1/2" of lift since the shackles are 2 1/2" longer than the original ones.

2.5" shackles = 1.25" lift.

You're probably up a little over 5" total.

Looks great. Don't replace the tub. MUCH cheaper to fix the current one, unless there is some MAJOR rust I can't see in the pics.

Looks great, welcome.

It looks like it has a 78 or earlier speedo, or am I mistaken? Looks nice though, wish I had it :^)

My old 78 had extended shackles, and a 4" lift. I rubbed on the exhaust pipe, the outer front fender, and when I aired it that 1 time, i ripped off most of my fender flare (POS Bushwhacker) My underdoors were trimmed 2 inches or so, which helps some, but am not sure about how much the fenders were cut. Of course those diamond rockers will inhibit your cutting under the doors, but with the extra protection, you might not need it.
