Dan, you other sports car nuts. This Saturday is our invasion of CMP
track. All are welcome. Bring that Fiat, Porsche, BMW or Laundry truck.
Wheel the snot outta it for next to nothing $ wise. Great guys great fun.
Just be there Saturday morning. You'll about pee yer pants having a great time.

Wish we could, but the Fiat need some major tuning help and a new exhaust. I also have to pull the tranny and seal up a few things. Maybe next year!
 
Can't make it this weekend, but will lock it down for next year, or if there is another weekend before then, let me know. Looks like a blast.
 
I think I need a HAMOM for my Fiat so I can tune her up. If I don't host something I never get around to it!

It is pretty simple:

1. I have a rear main or a tranny leak.
2. It runs RICH, so it stinks
3. Compounding #2, the exhaust looks like someone learned to weld on it (15+ welded joints)

So, I plan on fixing by:

1. Pulling tranny out, replacing rear main and all seals on said tranny, probably a clutch while I am in there (saves time/money later)
2. Carb rebuild/adjust
3. New exhaust with headers

Just have to find the coin and time to make it happen.

I wish I had my basement done with the new garage built. I could buy one of these:

Well, the fiat is only the size of the transmission in a cruiser, so maybe it's intended for both!

Haha....that is great and so true....Dan once you buy it are you gonna loan it out for club member hamoms....Haha
 
That fancy dancy gas vapor thing can make 'em stink like a deadead cat is in there.
Once again the De-smog was choice for me.
Excess crankcase pressure can can leaks too. Proper venting is important.
Mimi just blows it out 3 different vents.

What carbs(s)?

Today was a nice day. Great weather for the track.
Chased a MGB race car and a M5 BMW ( driven by Instructor)
for a neat experience. We was scooting.
Fun and instructive.
The MGB-GT behind me has the twin cam Toyota engine and a 5 speed box.
How about a MGB-GT with a 454 Buick engine.
Saw a 40 something Dodge Coupe with a Corvette engine and chassis
haul arse. Rusty and just plain off the charts...it was fun to watch.
A Porshe 911 something that was sooooo loud and sooooooo fast.
WOW. Red.
A 1960 Damiler made in the UK . Two seater with a Hemi V-8.
A British design. Dang thing had tail fins.
Mimi did fine and the suspension set up is UBER nice in transition.
The new tire/wheel combo is sticky.
I like the new SUs.
It's probably slower than a Pinto but it is fun.

Road around in this today! Feels really strange on the WRONG side ( I kept trying to get into the drivers side). You would have loved the VERY narrow winding roads.
