Hzj75 sub tank

Hey guys after abit more info on the genuine sub tank system. A wiring diagram with wire colours etc would be good and the ohm range of the guage too, cheers !

The previous owner replaced the dash but left the aux fuel gauge off, so I'm looking to add a gauge off the existing aux sender wires (assuming they’re still in place).

I found this connector behind the head unit in the dash, which after looking at the images OZ provided above seems like it could likely the meter connector.
Could anyone confirm this and if so, help define the wires?

I’m trying to utilize an aftermarket gauge which just needs +/- and wires from sender unit (https://a.co/d/g8Ep4gm)
Additionally, future plans will be wiring it into a control hub display (similar to redvision)

Took a stab at it and chose 1,2 for the sending unit, and 7,8 for the power/ground. Gauge shows 100% regardless of the sending wire configuration. They were reading around 30 ohms with the multimeter which could be one of the limits according to the blueseas diagram.

All assuming this is even the correct connector.

Still need to make it to a gas station to confirm it not full, though it should not be.

Yes that is the subtank cluster connector. I don’t remember which wires were which off the top of my head but we just dealt with this for @John Young

I was able to find one combo that produced O% instead of 100% that all other combos spit out, so I feel like im getting warmer...
I double checked the tank and it's definitely on the empty side.
Going to take some resistance readings of each wire compare how they change after throwing in some fuel. Hopefully that could point me to the correct wires.

Do you happen to have a photo of the wires going into the connector so I can see which plug number correlates to which color wire?

Did you ever sort this out? I'm retro-fitting this accessory gauge setup in an 89 hj75 and with a brown Davis long range tank, i believe the sender is a 90 Ohm unit? Is the resistor on the gauge a 56 Ohm?
