I was trying to talk a friend into removing a branch over his house by tying a bunjee cord to it, pulling it taut with his car and tossing a limb cutter over the branch - luckily he knows I'm a jackass with some seriously deadpan sarcasm

I wonder if anybody in that video, especially the operator of that come-a-long / truck, realized how close to death he came! I think if the wall the truck nose ended up against, had been one foot closer, the guy would have been seriously injured or dead. I am just amazed how we can sometimes do such stupid things and not know we just looked the grim reaper in the face. After he jumped out at the end, he looked more concerned about the condition of his truck, than anything else. I would have been counting my fingers and toes!

If you think this is funny, you should have seen my fawking stupid ass mofo next door neighbor, which I seriously despise, try to cut down a cotton wood that just happened to be growing right on the fence adjacent to my house. Dumb fawk climbed up a 30' tree, wedged himself between two branches and started to cut limbs with his POS home depot special chain saw...he did all this w/out ladders or protective gear. It was truly a Darwin moment in the making.

Dude was from China and worked as an engineer, debatable as a engineer but definitely dumber than dirt when it came to common sense.
