How much is my ARB bumper worth?

So I decided to cut it up. Cut the brush guard off, ground down, sanded and primered the spots. I know a lot of you were interested in it before I cut it up, but i didn't want to go through the hassle of pulling it off, shipping it, etc. I think it looks 100x's better.

I was about to say, I am getting an extra steel bumper that looks exactly like what you just did with my cruiser! But looks like you got the job done. I'm debating on if I want to throw it on in place of the stock, but I don't have a winch yet, so it'll have a big ole hole in the middle.

Also, I like how your custom job looks!

No idea on the bumper value, but is that a Pudelpointer in your avatar?

The value is now scrap since I chopped it up, and no, Ellie is my 10 year old rescue mutt. She's some sort of terrier mix, and possibly otterhound.

Cool dog. I couldn't tell from the smaller picture. And seems to me after seeing you most recent pics, the value is perfect now, since you've got what you wanted to begin with! Looks great to me.

Thanks! I like the bumper much better. Ellie has been with me for a long time, she's an old lady now. She normally has longer hair but I shave her for the summer.

Keep an eye on the upper winch support when winching. The uprights that were cut off braced that support. Now it's just a flat piece of metal with zero support. The winch -may- easily bend it backwards if pulling at full load. Maybe not. But something to be aware of. The steel ARB uses on these bumpers is very bendable.

I'll keep that in mind. The supports are still there a bit, I left about an inch or so on each side. I didn't cut those welds off, so hopefully it should still offer the vertical support.

no deer in arizona, eh?

My FJ62 hasn't been in the valley since 2004. Hasn't left Northern Arizona in all that time. Not the mule deer I'm worried about but the Rocky Mountain Elk. I also like the classic look of the bull bar on a classic cruiser.
