Like mentioned before, if you clean it out as best you can, it doesn't matter. The contamination is so minute that it will do nothing. There will be more contamination left behind in the old oil still clinging to the gears and casing than what your introducing.Thanks you for that tip. I guess I can't use it for my transmission fluid change then...I was thinking of doing that this coming spring or summer. I may have to think of something then.

Did you read the manual? I have a Motive Products Brake System Power Bleeder and in the manual it says to flush with denatured alcohol. I'd bet your manual says the same thing since many of the components are common between all the various Motive pumps, tanks, and lines.what's the best solution to clean the Motive Products 1735 Power Fill Pro Fluid Transfer Pump so that it does not contaminate when I use it with other type of fluids?

You’d be surprised how little change in level it takes to throw this off.does anyone know how much gear oil a 2020 LX570 rear diff? I'm parked in the garage so it's close to level, I put close to 4.7 quarts it's not coming out of the fill hole heavily, but if I stick my finger to confirm it's pretty close, I think 5mm is below is ok. Factory didn't fill it too high either (did not come out of fill hole when I first removed it)

Should be 4.4qt. You can always close it up with the old gasket then back in and see how much the level changes. If you’re happy with the result use the new gasket and drive on.
I don’t, but the breather cap has a small rubber diaphragm and spring in it, so it’s normal for it to deviate from atmospheric pressure a bit. I think I read somewhere that it is designed to pull a slight vacuum which helps cut down on leaks when stationary (the majority of your vehicle’s existence).Do you have a diagram of the breather?
