1997, 3rd owner with 186k. Original head gasket, factory lockers work perfect, no motor work ever... even has the original (leaking) rear main. Has been well maintained by the PO, and I am slowly baselining the whole damn thing so that I can keep it long enough for my 4 yr old to drive! Even though it's slow and heavy, I wouldnt want to drive anything else.

I'll play. Second owner, it was a creampuff w/119k when I bought in 2005. Now, ~230k, been heavily wheeled including 6 trips to Moab. Replaced HG, starter, radiator, rear spoiler and an AC clutch, otherwise original (excluding mods). Still runs perfect, interior is near flawless, paint is fawked.

If you're in the market, remember, they're all old. Condition and care is as important, if not more so, than mileage. Find one in good shape and it'll serve you forever.

Original HG, no major repairs or problems. Runs good. has a P0401 code for a while...
