how long on a fuel pump?

just wondering at what mileage has a fuel pump given up?

My original was still kicking after 204k miles. But I replaced it preventatively.

My original is still pumping with 296K miles. Plan to replace it in the next 10k miles.

I replaced the original fuel pump in my '99 at 320k miles. It was not showing any signs of failure, but I had the tank dropped and decided to do it as preventative maintenance. FYI - It is not necessary to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump.

I'm pushing 282,000 and had some odd issues this weekend, I was wondering about the pump. I haven't checked anything yet.

the pump is very easy to get to under the second row seat.
