I've read the threads on the relay location and I'm confused. Rock Auto shows both a 5-blade relay and a 4-blade relay option. Advance Auto shows a 5-blade only. I have the 4-blade relay in my fuse box for the EFI, but I'm wondering if I also need the 5-blade relay and it's located somewhere else. Thoughts?

OK, I watched the fuse box fix video for fun and thought, "Let me see if my check engine light cycles." It didn't. So I checked the EFI fuse... and lo and behold, it was blown. Of course, I have no 20 amp mini fuses anywhere. So I am paused until tomorrow when I go renew my fuse supply. In the meantime, a blown fuse means something isn't right. What might that be? I'm going to start reading threads, but if you all have any insight, that would be cool.

And I read the threads. And see what the problem is. And the three solutions. Fix the terminal in my box myself, buy the bypass kit, or buy a new box. Fun times in Land Cruiser ownership.

Yeah, the Engine Room Block Assembly is not a cheap piece of kit.
I'll offer some advice. Check to make sure it's not the fuel pump first.
I had similar symptoms, I bought a NIB OEM Box, had it installed and then found out it was the fuel pump.
That the fuse had been replaced was only anecdotal...it was just the last gasps of the fuel pump warning
me it was about to give up the ghost. I've been wary of firing off the parts cannon half-cocked ever since.
The box WAS old and had been "arc-ing" the inner prongs a bit but wasn't the failure point.

One good thing about buying a brand new OEM box though...comes complete with most the fuses and relays.
I think it only excludes the ABS relays. If you do buy the Engine Room Block Assembly, get it during a dealer's
25% off/Free Shipping Sale.

Good advice. Thank you. I had already ordered the fuel pump and it arrived today, so I’m going to test it first.

Well, the fuel pump was drawing over 10 amps and over 11 amps at times, which is double what I've seen for specs on a fuel pump, so I'm switching it out. Of course, I couldn't find a Denso and have to wire in a new connection. New Carter pump is drawing 8.4 amps, so we'll see what happens!

Denso sold their fuel pump division to Aisan (Not Aisin) so that's why Densos are NLA. The Aisans are pretty expensive, I think they come in at a couple hundred more than the Densos were available for. I went with Delphi from Rock Auto and it has about a year on it with no failure. It also experienced so very
extreme angles last week at Cruise Moab...not a single hiccup.

Well, the new pump and a new fuse and some dielectric grease got the Cruiser through a road trip to WV and back and then the fuse terminals gave up the ghost. Huge thanks to @medtro for his fix! I'm posting pictures so you can see the difference for coming off the battery instead of the fuse.
