Wondering how the the 2LTE adds more fuel. Is it TPS sensor engine rpm and boost that help it decide what to do. Is it a mechanical fuel set-up with and electronic fuel boost compansator.
Reason I'm asking is that I've disconnected my wastegate, increased exhaust size 3", and now it surges at full boost full load on hills. It pulls hard and boost rises to 15 psi and then the red light comes on in the dash and I get like a 500 rpm up dpwn surge.
I'm thinking there is some relation to throttle position, load and boost, as I lift off the throttle a bit it returns to the green light and surging ceases.
Possed the question on toyota diesel madness, no real answers came back.
Any thoughts or knowledge to drop
