so i have had hard start issues chased everything from seals to fuel leaks to compression
everything checks out. i started the truck with the crank sensor unplugged and starts great no issues/engine actually sounds better.
tested the sensors resistance 25ohms(coudnt find any numbers to compare too), cleaned the sensor(not really that dirty). im thinking the sensor is just bad but wanted some opinions before i throw money into the fire pit. thanks in advance

Maybe with it unplugged the computer goes to a default mode.
Are crank sensors very hard to find or expensive?
I am asking because when prepping my engine case for the machine shop, my sensor plastic broke when I unscrewed the hold down bolt.
I have not even begun to look for another one; but if they are cheap try a new one.
Apparently they get their share of heat exposure.

Just checked mine. 24.6 ohms. Round up and that's 25 ohms.
Maybe yours is fine.
Is it possible that there is a fuel check valve letting fuel drain back into the tank when it sits for awhile?
Maybe search for forums on the fuel injection pump.

Not hard to replace I found them online pretty easy(get the Toyota oem one not the cheap one(cheap didn’t work)
Still having this issue I’m checking some other things.
It must be sensor related I assume cause when tps is uninstalled it starts great because the engines in limp mode

I bought a 1hdt 80 series so I’ve been giving it a little less attending LOL
