How bad, really, are NAPA/O'Reilly/etc. calipers? (1 Viewer)

40,000 miles on cardone calipers from O’reillys, zero issues.

I kept my factory calipers as a rebuildable back up set.

Where are you finding the reman OE calipers from Toyota? All I'm seeing from the major online Toyota parts sites are $240-$270 each for the front calipers.

The OReilly rebuilt calipers are rebuilt by Cardone also. Nobody buys brand new Toyota calipers- or at least they shouldn't. Rebuilding calipers isn't brain surgery and Cardone is probably the largest automotive rebuilder in the USA. I had Cardone rebuilt calipers on my cruiser. They worked fine with no issue

I can assure you... many buy new calipers :D

At under $500 for a OE loaded brand new pair of 4x/5x/6x/7x calipers, it's a good buy for the right project and we've had an fair bit of inquiries into additional applications. Certainly they don't make sense for every project and there are some decent remans out there (and some bad ones too) but for builds focusing on exact restoration, top shelf parts, etc... customers exist.
