This high capacity fuel tank came off my 1982 FJ60. It needs to be pressure tested and possibly welded up on one of the edges. Or, if you can weld, you can make another one based on this one. The dimensions are about 14" H x 34" W x 26"D. There is a 45 degree angle at the bottom rear of the tank. Not sure what the tank capacity is but the dimensions above calculate to a volume of about 53 gallons, although the angle at the rear reduces that somewhat. Also don't know if the fuel gauge rod has been lengthened but I think it hasn't since my gauge read empty and I still siphoned out 15 gallons or so before I removed the tank.

$300 or best offer.

Free to whoever wants it and picks it up. Otherwise going to the recycle yard along with other ferrous metals I have laying around.

Local pickup in Hermosa Beach California.

Note that while this tank (Aero) was originally designed to hang from the bed of the 60, you can make straps to support it from underneath, which is a much better long term solution.

I got my first Aero tank back in 1983 and discovered the hard way that with all the weight hanging from the pass-through tubes, those welds are likely to fail before the seams do.

Thanks for that insight on the manufacturer of this tank Mark. I hadn't heard of Aero fuel tanks for FJ60s, but then this truck has been on the road since long before I was old enough to drive, so thank you for sharing that history.
