But on another note I met my down the road neighbor after he traded in his tacoma and picked up an 80 series.

To the rest of you,
an update of sorts. I am divorced now officially, Which is a good thing. I am seeing a young lady named Allison, She is a good thing. Aiden is doing well.
Hope the rest of you fools are having a good year so far !!
Dave

I agree...granted I have nothing import to share, but nevertheless no action in almost a month!

Glad to hear it Dave - change is good. Glad Aidan is doing well... Allison, eh? Is your "aim true" there Elvis?

On another note, want to weld on some sliders? You guys do that sort of stuff at your shop? Crimony.. Over a year later and I still have not mounted those puppies.

You and I can mount on a saturday, well every other saturday when I work down here.
The shop not so much, It is pretty slammed right now, I am backed up about a week and a half in here. It is a problem that I like having.
Next possible saturday is the 30th.
Dave

62' siting

Hey phaedrus, I saw your 62' going thru boro' and tracked it down to your shop(About a mo. ago). I stopped for a good look but, I couldn't see if you were able to talk, I had my six mo. old sleeping in the truck. That is one cool stocker. I love the hubcaps!!! You still driving it?

Yup,
That is my daily driver since loosing the Subaru Legacy to my ex wife.
Well not really a loss, It was keep the 62 or the Subaru, Not a tough choice.
Shop is pretty crazy most of the time. give a shout or stick your head in the door next time you are around.
Dave

Phaedrus,
What are you doing the weekend of April 24-25?

usedcarracing.com/schedule-of-events

If I can :wrench: on the car, we can run (& finish) :steer: a 24Hr at Nelson's.

We'll bring more  for your garage fridge this time.

Pretending I know how to wrench on a VW I hope :)

Dave

I been trying to keep my business going in this pitiful economy, I hope to hit a couple trailrides this summer if fuel prices don't spike. I will try to remember to stop by here more often.

Stay safe

What upcoming Saturdays look feasible for you? And I agree - the hibs on the 62 are the bomb...

My next saturday is the 30th every other after that. Let me know.
Dave

I'm alive down in Cincy....
Who's going to put a wheeling trip together?

COOL dave, I'll do that!! I saw it there again yesterday as me and the wife were on our way to the camper place!!! We're looking for something in the 25 - 30ish range, if anyone knows or has one. We're also looking for a 62' in decent shape for a restore(for the wife) she loves the forty but, wants to help on a rig of her own. by the way, she loves yours, dave!!!!!

Muddonky, a friend of mine down here has a large-ish mid '70's Airstream trailer that he is selling. Well, he says he's selling it, but he's always too busy to take pics and put it on any For Sale websites. LMK if you're interested and I'll call him and see if he's still selling.

Jim, How I would love that airstream but, I really think after what I've seen the wife looking at......I don't think that a 70's equipt camper is gonna suit her needs. however, there is a guy at my work who makes love to airstreams and if you could get me a price and pics I may have a buyer for that beauty.

crickets.........all i hear are crickets:D

Cool, thanks Jim!!

The crickets were a general comment about the whole page, nothing directed at you!!!

Hey Karl,
I just moved in down the street from your dad's shop. South on Cosgray, about 3 miles down on the left. Cruised by the shop a couple of times. You doing any work in there?
