well most of the snow is gone now so :( (it´s like +14C deg outside now)

But I´ll use it for traveling the highlands and DD :)

been wondering what to do for a bumper, I do have a chrome front one in good shape, will be using that to begin with, but I want to make my own bumper, something similar to the ARB one.

Finallly got some work done, getting all the lights to work etc.
Also made some runningboards.

put tectyl inside the wells

-db-

I´m still in the thought prossess on the bumpers, want to make something like the SOR rear bumper and front I´m looking at the new slee shortbus 80 series bumper

I´ll post pics as I go along :)

I´ll be using 4mm thick steel, going to see where I can save weight, put aluminium on the top of the rear bumper etc. :)

Hey Talos, you should check out Don's work at FCFabrication.com and Luke's designs at 4x4labs.com for a rear bumper. I'm not sure if those are the type of bumpers you're looking for but it'll give you some design ideas.

on another note I had to get the 60 pulled to a shop (only hitched the rope to the towing vehicle) :P so this was the first official drive, and dear lord does that motor PULL! the torque at 1000rpm was phenominal and everything over 2000rpm felt excessive.
on 38" tires and with 4.88 ratios I didn´t even touch 1st gear :bounce:

...can´t wait to get an intercooler :grinpimp:

very nice :D

Made me a trailer hitch last night. wanted to get it lower than on the stock bumper since the car rides pretty high :grinpimp:

the leaf shackle holes came in handy

and under it went :)

will build the bumper around the hitch.
