Hey guys anyone know if the bonnet pins punch out from the inside out or outside in?

just replaced the door bushes to stop the drop now doing the bonnet.

Since you can unbolt them from both sides, I assumed they were replacable as a unit and so probably welded somewhere.
I guess you'll easily see once they're in the vice?
Would love to see photos of the process followed in each case

The process is the same as the doors, don’t take them off…. Just knocked pins out and put bushes in and place pins back in ….. fixed

These are the hinges

Old crusty ones

Just used a small socket on extension bar and punched it through

Place new bushes on and tap in with a mallet

Bit of grease on the pin and drive it home, job done

The PO made the door bushing out of brass on my FJ, an advantage of being a gunsmith/machinist. I should look maybe he did the hood too.

The pins are fine on mine it’s just the plastic bushes that turn crap
