fellow mudders,
what are you suggestions on using (basically how-to) a Hi-lift Jack on LC200 with stock bumpers? Most of the adapters I have seen here, are flexible type (hooks attached to a chain or strap) but they would certainly damage the plastic bumper.

I searched our forum and this might be one option :meh: (?)

- What about the rear points? rear hitch receiver?
- Anyone seen any rod type adapters (like this available for rovers) etc, I can weld/attach/bolt somewhere?

thanks

I ran into this issue as well. I wound up selling my Hi-lift Jack. There really aren't many useful places to mount without bumpers or at least sliders.

Fellow mudder saillaw shared a pic of someone (think from an LC100) having the below mount fabricated and bolted to the frame. I looked at the LC200 frame and similar can be done, however the bulky stock plastic-aluminum sliders are in the way ! If we remove them, there might be more options for lift mounts ?! Second pic is of Lc200 frame.

Slee sliders make a great recovery point.

It is actually not all that complicated. The chassis rails extend to right behind the plastic bumper skin, cutting a small square hole in it to allow a metal tube to protrude from the chassis will do the job.
You see plenty of 200s here in Saudi with a "luggage crate" hanging off the rear bumper. These are mounted in exactly the same way; they slide in a metal square section bolted or welded to the chassis and protruding just under the plastic skin.

Found a better solution n tested it a few times..adds a bit of more protection from local 'hazards' :-)

Sturdy n pretty much stealth...
