Livingston Market pimento cheese & andouille from last night's dinner is a great add to a breakfast apple wood bacon & egg sandwich
 
Nope - missed that. C had been garden club tour organizing for most of the week; we were just grabbing a quick bite before she crashed.
 
No pics of the actual food, but I was test driving some menu items (Gourmet grilled cheese & rustic tomato soup) and overland cooking gear for the upcoming NorCal spring trip I was able to smooth talk my way into tagging along on.

After @jfz80's peño poppers on the shores of Lake Powell, I was sprung. I kinda went on a binge when I got home.

I used smoked Gouda and smoked sharp cheddar, stuffed inside a center-sliced and then, obviously, wrapped in bacon.

Did you use center cut bacon? I hear that's the way the pros do it.

I haven't stepped up to the pro-league just yet, so I ran regular ethically tortured bacon from whole foods.

I had forgotten about this tip, thanks for the reminder!
